U1P-Gear SAE 75W-140 Synthetic Gear Oil, API GL-5 is formulated with synthetic base oils and specialty performance additives to deliver enhanced high-temperature thermal and oxidative stability across a wide range of operating conditions. Advanced anti-cuffing additives and friction modifiers provide superior protection and lubricity under extreme pressure conditions. Additionally, Ultra1Plus Limited Slip Gear Oils are shear-stable and resistant to rust, oxidation, foaming, and varnish formation.
U1P-Gear SAE 75W-140 Synthetic Gear Oil, API GL-5 is designed for year-round, all-season use and exceeds the all-weather performance viscosity requirements of SAE J306, as well as the demanding performance standards of API GL-5 and MT-1. The API GL-5 category defines service characteristics for gears—particularly hypoid gears in automotive axles—operating under high-speed and/or low-speed, high-torque conditions.
Lubricants meeting API MT-1 specifications provide protection against thermal degradation, component wear, and oil deterioration beyond what is offered by lubricants meeting only API GL-5 requirements.
These oils also meet or exceed the performance requirements of the following industry and OEM specifications: API GL-5, API MT-1, Mack GO-J Plus (75W-90), Mack GO-J (75W-140), SAE J2360, and Meritor O-76-E.
